JOIN OUR DREAM DESIGN ACTION COLLECTIVE!
The purpose of the Dream Design Action Collective is to create a space where young mob can come together to connect, reflect, collectively and engage and be supported in capacity and skill building opportunities.
We are using Discord as our primary base for connection where mob can yarn and collaborate with each other. We have fortnightly check in yarns called 'collective connects' which are informal drop in connect sessions as well as monthly deep dive yarns with a range of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander experts.

WHY EDUCATION AND WHY NOW?
Education is a powerful tool for self-determination, liberation and freedom.
Yet, generations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people have been systematically excluded from accessing a quality education.
In spite of this injustice, our families and communities have continuously turned up at the school gate and have fought for our rights to education. We have many wins in Indigenous education through the establishment of our own Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led schools, ASSPA committees, and education consultative bodies.
MAJOR FUNDERS
As young people, it’s up to us to continue this legacy. Across the continent, states and territories are entering into treaty-making processes which will include negotiations on education rights.
Young people will be key leaders in progressing this work in the decades to come.
This is the purpose of Dream Design. To bring young mob together so we can understand our rights and determine the type of learning systems we want to create for future generations.

DREAM DESIGN ARTWORK
Oumoula Nanaiyu Mckenzie, is a Pitjantjatjara, Yankunytjatjara, Warumungu and Warlmanpa artist from central Australia. He uses his art to try to empower his community and speak on the challenges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples face. The dream design artwork depicts community coming together after the rain. After big rain everything in the desert comes alive. The desert, people and water Represent new growth and new beginnings. A key theme in this artwork is that learning is occurring on Country, being together and teaching is intergenerational.
